Stars raise funding by degrees

COMEDIAN David Baddiel bought one, as did actor Richard Wilson. Author Nick Hornby couldn’t resist. Nor could Emma Thompson and Helen Mirren.
So what is this must-have accessory for the well-heeled?
The answer: a one-degree section of the Chalk Farm Roundhouse to call their own. All have pledged £3,000, becoming members of the “360? Club”, as a gift towards ensuring the arts venue is kept afloat during its 10-year renovation. And now, with all 360 plots taken, the Roundhouse plan to celebrate the generous contributions they have received at a star-studded party next month.
Director Marcus Davey said: “The 360? founding members are a very special group of people who have supported and championed the work of the Roundhouse. As part of our capital campaign for the redevelopment of the building, these 360 members collectively raised over £1m which is a massive achievement.”
