Schools’ stars win: Kids from 20 primaries enjoy two-day tournament
BUDDING young footballers from four top primary schools were making space in their trophy cabinets this week after clinching the honours at a prestigious football competition.
Girls’ teams from Brookfield School in Highgate and the boys’ team from
St Aloysius in Camden Town, along with St Patrick’s School in Kentish Town and Gospel Oak School, were presented with cups and winners’ medals at the grand finals of the Camden Schools Sports Association Football Championships.
Overall the tournament, which was held at Coram’s Fields, proved a huge success with more than 20 schools across Camden taking part in the two-day event.
