Dominant Arms race into final
CUP holders Boston Arms edged a step closer to retaining their Divisional Cup on Monday when they beat Unicorn in Division One of the Chalk Farm Pool League.
The Tufnell Park side secured a 5-1 victory to set up a final date against the Sir Robert Peel ‘B’ team, who overcame Gloucester Arms 5-4 in their semi-final.
The Peel ‘B’ team will be looking to complete a memorable campaign after their ‘A’ team counterparts were crowned Division One champions.
In the Divisional Two Cup, Prince of Wales Wizards ran out 5-2 winners over Archway’s Whittington Stone to book their place in the final. They will face Leighton Arms, who beat Daniel Gooch 5-4.
The second-tier trophies could be dominated by teams from Prince of Wales after the Dynamos won the Division Two title.
