New trials for the Townies

COACHES from Kentish Town Football Club are inviting players to an open training session on Sunday at Barnet Copthall Stadium.
The semi-pro side are looking to bolster their squad ahead of the upcoming campaign in the Premier Division of the Spartan South Midlands League.
Last season they were lucky not to be relegated after taking just 17 points from 40 games.
Despite finishing bottom of the table, the club received a last-minute reprieve when the two relegation spaces were filled by Holmer Green and Cockfosters because of ground issues. Eager not to face another close shave, the club are inviting players who think they have what it takes to join in the trials, which get underway at their home ground in Greenlands Lane in Hendon at 11.30am.
