Brown boys take on Spurs
THE “Boys in Brown” from Kentish Town will be taking on a team of former professional footballers from Tottenham on Sunday in a special charity match. Drivers from Regis Road-based delivery company UPS Camden, instantly recognised for their light-brown uniforms, will be donning their kits and football boots to help raise money for the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick Children.
But they will have to be at their best if they are going to beat the team of ex-Spurs’ players at Brimsdown Rovers Football Club in Goldsdown Road, Enfield.
There will also be lots of family fun on the day, including the chance for Tottenham fans to take pictures with some of their heroes. Stadium doors will open at noon, with the action set to get under way at 2pm.
