Positive feedback
• WORK is well underway to bring all of Camden’s council homes to the Decent Homes standard (a national quality benchmark for social housing).
Apollo is one of the contractors on the Investing in Camden’s Homes programme and we are working hard with the Council to deliver the best quality work to residents’ homes (Think of that new kitchen and bathroom? August 13).
Resident satisfaction is a priority and we are delighted that the overwhelming majority of feedback from residents to date is extremely positive. More and more families are now enjoying the benefits from improvements to electrics, windows, kitchens, bathrooms and heating systems.
Most residents recognise that as we carry out this work there will be disruption and inconvenience of some kind. However, we make every attempt to keep this to a minimum and have high standards, which takes residents’ concerns very seriously. This is why we have a team of resident liaison officers who keep residents informed at every stage of the work and take every reasonable step to fix any problems highlighted.
We will continue to work closely with Camden Council to ensure the quality of work and service to residents meets the Decent Homes standard, but also residents’ expectations. We will ensure our resident liaison officers are always available to answer queries and deal with any concerns.
