Karen looks to fire Spurs Ladies
SPURS Ladies have appointed Karen Hills as their new first team manager ahead of the big kick-off in the South-East Combination League.
The former Charlton Ladies star already knows what it takes to be successful, having captured an FA Cup winners’ medal during her playing days.
Counting down to the start of the new season Karen said: “These are exciting times for Spurs Ladies as we put together a new and young side to compete in a
tough league this season.”
Tottenham have already snapped up a host of new players, including former Charlton Ladies’ goalkeeper Ebony Cabey-Gooden and Enfield Ladies duo Emma Kayser and Genna Schillaci.
New skipper Ebony revealed that she jumped at the chance to join the north London club. “When Hillsy called and told me about her plans for the club, I was more than happy to take up the offer of coming to play for her. “I was kindly offered the captaincy role and it is one which I was proud to accept,” she added. “This will be a new experience for me, but one that I am really looking forward to.” |
