New boys Mostyn FC hit 28 goals in 5 wins

NEWCOMERS Mostyn FC kept up their assault on Division Two as they came from a goal down to beat AFC Brasenose 5-1 at Hackney Marshes.
The free-scoring side have now won all five of their opening league fixtures, scoring 28 goals and conceded just three in the process.
Despite going a goal down on Sunday, Mostyn were soon in control of their match against an experienced Brasenose side. Grant Murphy pulled the scores level with an overhead kick after Sam Roberts’s initial header came back off the crossbar.
Roberts then fired Mostyn in front, before Mace Johnson stole centre stage with a stunning hat-trick.
Another new side lighting up the league is Division Three’s Boundary Estate FC. The unbeaten team are five points behind leaders Crouch End Rangers with two games in hand after trashing FC Bertoli 6-1 on Sunday. Hotshot Nick Brice was the star of the show as he netted his second hat-trick of the season.
In Division One Reddot returned to the summit with a 5-1 win over Field Crusaders. Paul Reid put in a scintillating one-man show as he scored four goals before defender James Ricketts rounded off the rout.
Sir Robert Peel picked up their first points of the season with a 6-2 win over Archway Allstars.
David Dawson claimed the match ball with a magnificent hat-trick, while captain Majier Gakmar, Joe Warman and John McNamara were also all on target.

Unruffled Eagles soaring high

HAMPSTEAD Eagles overcame Islington Admiral Youth on Friday to continue their unbeaten start to the season in the Under-9s North Division.
Captain Darnell Luke led by example when he opened the scoring at Market Road with a composed finish, before Zac Turner added his name to the score sheet to seal a 2-0 win.
League leaders Isledon Wolves look comfortable at the top after making it three wins out of three with victory over Westway.
Teon Levy-Wright opened the scoring from close range before Nicky Marshall doubled the advantage. Jack Cheeseman wrapped up a 3-1 win with his first goal for the club.
In the Under-10s ‘B’ League Nathan Carlyle guided Wolves to a convincing win over Lyndhurst.
The talented youngster opened the scoring within a minute of the kick-off when he beat three defenders before blasting his shot past the keeper. Louis Noel, Mason Jeakins and Jayden Callaghan were also all on target in a resounding 4-0 victory for Wolves.
Isledon were involved in one of the games of the weekend in the Under-12s ‘A’ League as they battled out a five-goal thriller against Lyndhurst.
An own-goal presented Wolves with an early lead, but Lyndhurst quickly pulled level thanks to a great strike from Danny Leonard.
Wolves edged back in front through Tommy Smith, but Callum Cushing equalised for Lyndhurst before Leonard scored his second to seal a 3-2 win.
