Crawl countdown – Bands stage preview
IT’S only six months since we were sprinting from venue to venue to cram in as many gigs as possible on the Camden Crawl.
But with seven months to go until the next huge event, the Crawl’s organisers have come to the rescue of those who can’t wait.
Some of Camden’s finest talent helped launch next year’s Crawl at The Blues Kitchen last week.
There was vintage action from Kitty, Daisy and Lewis, a class act from MPHO and high-energy antics from Man Like Me, whose frontman Johnny Langer paid tribute to Tufnell Park and William Ellis School.
Also on the bill was Ou Est Le Swimming Pool. Proceeds from the night went to charity War Child.
This year’s crawl will take place over the May Bank Holiday, May 1 and 2. Info and tickets from www.thecamdencrawl.com |
