Swim team’s 21 up!
A 27-strong team from Camden Swiss Cottage Swimming Club scooped 21 medals at the London Regional Winter Championships at Barnet Copthall.
The girls were in fine form with Devon Robins, 16, and Reut Benaim, 15, leading the way. Along with recording two national qualifying times, Devon returned home with a gold, two silvers and a bronze. Reut continued the success by winning a full set of medals and gaining a national qualifying time in the 100m butterfly.
The boys pulled in a substantial medal haul of their own. Felix Samuels, 16, collected a gold and a bronze in his freestyle races. He also took gold in the 200m individual medley.
Other medallists were Alex Mackay, Bogac Ayhan, Leo Jaggs, Joel Sands, Harry Needs, Tamsin McKinnon and Santiago Parilli. |
