High expectations: Ex-Hammer’s training boost
FORMER West Ham midfielder Geoff Pike joined coaches from Hampstead Football Club on Monday for a special training session at Acland Burghley School in Tufnell Park.
Pike, a regional coach for the FA, led the session, aimed at introducing coaches to the latest techniques being used within the sport.
Hampstead chair Dian Culligan said: “Our coaches found the session really informative and extremely useful. It also showed us that we should have higher expectations of our players because they have a much greater understanding of the game than perhaps we give them credit for.” |
