HOTSHOT Colby Arnold helped fire Hampstead to the top of the table in the Under-10s ‘A’ Division of the Camden and Islington Youth League on Friday.
The striker grabbed his fourth goal in two games when he cut inside and smashed the ball into the back of the net against Futebol de Salao at Market Road.
Riordan Holzwarth sealed a 2-0 win when he latched onto player-of-the-match Isaiah Bright’s through-ball to slot home.
In the Under-10s ‘B’ League, Belsize Park made it five wins out of five with a convincing victory over Regent’s Park.
Jonny Sheves showed great composure to open the scoring early on after latching onto Fergal Walter’s cross. Josh Goldstein doubled the advantage before Laurie Mills made the game safe.
Star player Walter grabbed the goal his overall performance deserved to complete a 4-0 win.
Isledon Wolves are five points behind Belsize in second place following their 5-0 victory over Highgate Rangers.
Louis Noel showed great composure in front of goal to score twice, while Ryan Ward, Nathan Carlyle and Ethan Irvine chipped in with a goal each.
In the Camden and Regent’s Park Youth League The Hill remain level on points with Hampstead Hawks and Belsize at the top of the Under-10s ‘A’ Division.
In their last outing the Hill coasted to a 3-0 win over Somers Town thanks to goals from Leon Morris, Jonah Perez and Theo Noble.
Sister club Belsize reduced Hawks’ goal difference advantage to just three goals after beating Hampstead Tigers 8-1.
Having starred for Belsize in the Camden and Islington Youth League, Fergal Walter continued his fine form with four goals in just eight minutes.
Ned Ashcroft bagged a brace, while Jonny Sheves and Laurie Mills were also on target.
Primrose Hill are flying the flag for Camden in the Under-10s London Cup after booking their place in the fourth round with a routine victory over the Junior Red Knights.
Theo Noble opened the scoring with a spectacular shot from distance before Archie Harker doubled the advantage on the stroke of half-time. The free-scoring side continued to pile on the pressure in the second half.
And they increased their lead through Harry Nevins before Jonah Perez got on the score-sheet to complete the 4-0 win.

• SEASONED campaigners St Pancras are looking for a goalkeeper for their Under-9s side. The club are also searching for players to join their Under-8s. Anyone interested should call Barry Archer on 07806 776 984 for details.
