Spurs are on their way to Fulham
WITH the FA Cup fourth round taking place this weekend and Spurs having been knocked out of the competition by Leicester, they have Saturday off.
But they are back in league action on Tuesday when they face Fulham in a tough mid-week test at Craven Cottage.
The corresponding fixture last year saw Spurs fall to a 2-0 defeat in what was the last game in charge at White Hart Lane for Jacques Santini.
But Spurs turned the tables on their west London neighbours in the autumn with a 1-0 victory that saw a Jermain Defoe strike seal all the points.
Coach Martin Jol said: “We treat every game the same, but there is no doubt the matches against other London clubs are special for the fans.
“Our record away is good, and our record against London clubs has improved since last season.
“Fulham are a strong side and they are improving, but it is a game we know we can do well in,” he added. |
