MP Johnson in the frame for talk on cycling issue
“THE beauty of a bike, from my point of view, a libertarian Tory, is you can decide where you want to go, and at what speed you want to go.”
So said Islington resident Boris Johnson MP talking about his passion for cycling in a recent magazine article.
Now enthusiasts can hear him speak about the joys of cycling at a public meeting on Wednesday, March 14 at 8.30pm at Islington Town Hall, Upper Street.
A question and answer session will follow Mr Johnson’s talk and the evening promises to be a powerful platform for taking forward cycling issues.
The politician is a member of the Cross Party Cycling Committee chaired by Islington South MP Emily Thornberry. All are welcome. Places are free. Booking is preferred – email alisondines@clara.co.uk or telephone 0207 227 7021
