Mayor Jyoti Vaja with African drummers
FAITHS MEET TO SOUND OF POUNDING DRUMS

 RELIGIOUS groups came together for the first community festival staged by Islington Faiths Forum.
Mayor Councillor Jyoti Vaja joined the celebrations on Thursday at the New Christian Court Centre in Finsbury Park, where the audience was thrilled by a musical masterclass given by African drummers.
The event was an opportunity to celebrate “the significant contribution” faith groups make in the borough.
