The crash scene
Crash driver’s escape
A DRIVER walked away relatively unscathed after his 4x4 car overturned in King’s Cross,.
Shoppers and passers-by screamed as they witnessed the car collide with a BMW and bounce off a Mercedes before coming to a halt in the middle of York Way last Wednesday.
Shopkeepers rushed to the aid of the driver, dragging him out of the passenger window.
The man, believed to be in his 40s, was able to walk away. A shopkeeper who helped rescue the driver said: “He was in shock. “We took him into the shop and calmed him down. He wasn’t saying much.”
