Revamp plans celebrated with picnic
STORMY skies failed to dampen the picnic spirit on Saturday, as Wilton square residents got together to celebrate planned improvements to the area. The Friends of Wilton Square and Islington Council’s Green Space team organised a garden party so families could look at sketches drawn up by designer Phil Alex.
Magician Matt Baker wowed the gathering with his card tricks in between chess competitions, party games and musical entertainment.
Afterwards, Clive Dinsey gave party-goers suffering from vertigo and other
phobias a taste of hypnotherapy techniques.
