Blue badge cheat motorists nabbed
TWO women who displayed fake or stolen blue badges, used by disabled drivers, have been fined hundreds of pounds.
The badges, if used legally, allow disabled people to park almost anywhere.
Natasha McKenzie, 33, from Oransay Road, Canonbury, was caught by a traffic warden displaying a fake blue badge apparently issued by Waltham Forest Council.
She was found guilty at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court this week, although she did not attend the hearing, and was fined £500.
Phoenix Minh Phuong Lu, 35, from Freegrove Road, Holloway, pleaded guilty by post to using a stolen blue badge and was fined £400.
