A NEWSAGENT needed stitches after being hit over the head with a bottle in a robbery in Newington Green on Saturday night. The man was serving customers at Ashier News, in Newington Green Road, when two youths stole two bottles of vodka alcopops from the fridge.
The newsagent was hit over the head with one of the bottles when he chased after them.
