Gang hunted after bus stabbing
POLICE have released CCTV images of five men who allegedly stabbed a teenager as he tried to board a bus in Finsbury Park last month.
The victim, 17, has made a “good recovery” from his wounds but was in hospital for some weeks following the attack.
His ordeal began in the early hours of Thursday, July 17 as he waited for a 259 bus in Manor House in Hackney.
Five men surrounded him and threatened to stab the student if he dare try to escape.
But he broke free and managed to run along Seven Sisters Road to Finsbury Park.
As he desperately tried to board a 29 bus, the gang surrounded their victim and stabbed him several times and stole his Nike bag. Witnesses should call Stoke Newington police robbery squad on 020 7275 3113.
