Emily Thornberry with Naomi Adams and Christopher McFadzean
Contest winners find No10 so cool
TWO teenagers have visited Number 10 Downing Street after winning a competition.
Christopher McFadzean and Naomi Adams, both 18, beat off tough competition to win Islington South and Finsbury Labour MP Emily Thornberry’s contest.
The winners were chosen for their voluntary work in Islington. Mr McFadzean helps young people at Peel Youth Club, in King’s Cross, and is a youth representative on EC1 New Deal Forum. Ms Adams, who mentors girls at St Mary’s Youth Club in Upper Street, Islington, has helped plan a youth event at Arsenal’s Emirates stadium and organises holiday schemes for young people. She said of her visit to No10: “It was a cool experience and really fun.”
