Winton School’s little angels: Jazz Saunders and Willow Newman
Of mice and mini-kings... Parents and teachers wowed by nativity performances
SPIDERS, kings and mice sat side by side as students enthralled parents at this week’s Winton School nativity play. More than 100 people flocked to the school, in Killick Street, off Caledonian Road, King’s Cross, to watch the children perform the story of Baboushka.
Headteacher Penny Spencer said: “The show went extremely well, in fact the parents said it was the best they had seen for years. “We were very pleased. I’d like to say thank you to all my teachers for all their hard work.”
She added: “The reception class helped make the costumes, and the rest were made by
one of our nursery teachers. “The children were fantastic and learned all their songs by heart.”
