Teen student robbed by masked knifeman
A STUDENT was held at knifepoint as a robber tried to snatch her bag on the way home from a student union bar. The 19-year-old, a student at the London Metropolitan University, was attacked in Mackenzie Road, Holloway at 1.30am last Thursday.
She heard someone running behind her, so she began walking faster but was soon overtaken and confronted by a masked man. He held a knife to her cheek and demanded her handbag but she resisted. He then rifled through her bag and made off with £10.
The victim was not injured in the attack.
The attacker was wearing baggy blue jeans and black, hooded, top and black scarf as a mask. Anyone with information is urged to call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
