‘Hunting’ knife used to rob man

A “BABYFACED” thief wielded a hunting knife at a businessman during a night-time street robbery.
The 43-year-old victim was confronted by the thief and his accomplice in Rotherfield Street, close to the junction with Ecclesbourne Road, at 10pm last Monday.
An Islington police spokesman said: “He heard footsteps running behind him and then somebody tried to pull his briefcase out of his hand. He resisted and held on to his briefcase. At this point suspect one pulled out a large hunting-style knife and threatened the victim with it. Suspect two then searched the victim for property and they made off in an unknown direction.”
The thieves escaped with a wallet, credit cards and cash.
The armed suspect is described as having a baby face, is about 16 years old, 5ft 5in tall, with short, brown slightly curly hair. He was wearing a dark top.
His accomplice was of a similar age, 6ft 1in, thin, and was wearing a beanie hat.
