Mother’s sudden death baffles doctors
THE death of a woman who collapsed at her Highbury home remains a mystery.
Amanda Jane Saunders – who “lived life to the full” – was found in the bathroom at her home in Highbury Quadrant on February 3.
Ms Saunders, 22, who was studying to become an accountant, was discovered by her partner, Aaron, a scaffolder, when he broke down the door.
“We are all totally devastated and numb with grief,” said her mother, Catherine Devine, 47, of Dartmouth Park. “This was so sudden.” “Doctors have not been able to come up with an answer. She was a fit, active, healthy young woman with her whole future in front of her.”
An inquest has been opened and adjourned into the death of the fun-loving mother of two small children, Lucie and Aaron.
