Bid to build 274 flats
A MAJOR housing development is expected to be given the go-ahead after plans were submitted to the Town Hall.
The application is to demolish buildings in Central Street and Seward Street and build 274 flats. The development includes the closure of the Central Street housing office.
A mix of shops and offices are included in the plans along with a 58-space car pack including 300 cycle spaces.
Planning officials have recommended the development is approved.
