How Soundtrack project speaks volumes about artists’ creativity
MORE than 200 Islington youngsters showed off their innovative arts projects at LSO St Luke’s in Old Street.
The young people had been working on the Soundtracks and Write Now and Then projects for two months and the event gave them the chance to showcase their work.
The performances included the presentation of a digital book which had been made by recording the sounds of Islington as a sheep was taken for a walk through the borough.
Suzanne Lee, artistic director of charity All Change, who organised the projects, was delighted with the final show. She said: “There was so much positive feedback from the people involved and they were very excited to see their work on the big screen. It certainly made all their hard work worthwhile.”
