School bridges road safety gap
A HOLLOWAY school for children with special needs has won a London-wide road safety competition. The Bridge School, in Hungerford Road, received the Children’s Traffic Club award for teaching basic road sense to children aged three
to 11.
Senior road safety officer Stephen Cutmore said: “I am delighted that The Bridge School is helping to raise awareness of road safety issues among children.”
The children won a dressing-up box containing road safety outfits, bean bags and books.
