Two hurt in towpath attack
TWO men needed hospital treatment after they were attacked by a gang of 15 masked teenagers on a canal towpath.
The victims, a 56-year-old retired man and a 34-year-old unemployed man, suffered cuts and bruises when they were surrounded by up to 15 boys and girls, all hiding their faces with bandanas. They threw stones and punched the men as they walked along the canal towpath at Tiber Gardens, King’s Cross, on Friday.
The group then ran off towards York Way Court.
