VIP Jessica’s ready for the superstar treatment!
EXCLUSIVE beauty spas, armour-plated Range Rovers and shopping sprees at Harrods are luxuries usually only experienced by celebrities and the mega-rich. But next week one young girl from the Andover Estate in Finsbury Park will see how the other half live when she becomes a VIP for the day as a once-in-a-lifetime treat from the Andover Youth and Community Trust (AYCT).
Jessica Galbally-Page, 15, who has learning difficulties, will be whisked to Knightsbridge in a chauffeur-driven car with tinted glass windows for shopping and the biggest burger the emporium can muster.
Then it’s off to the exclusive Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa in Mayfair for an extensive pampering session with two top stylists.
After a quick change into her evening attire, a Mercedes S-Type will then drive Jessica to The Gatehouse pub in Highgate for dinner with the AYCT directors.
The special £1,000 day, sponsored by Homes for Islington (HfI), will be captured by Jessica’s own “paparazzi” photographer.
Helen Spall, an AYCT director, spent a year organising Jessica’s big day out.
She said: “This is the day when Jess gets the chance to be a VIP and visit places she might not see again. Jess will always need someone to care for her – we want her to experience life.”
