Islington Tribune - LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Published: 12 September 2008

When time stands still

• I HAVE recently read Leo Chapman’s letter on stopped clocks (This sleepy old town, August 29). Our company, Public Clocks, has had a workshop for the past 25 years.
We hold contracts throughout London and the south for turret (tower) clocks.
We are now in an industrial site in west London and an office in Islington. Most of the clocks mentioned in the letter have been contacted and inspected by us but with little response. No money to spare?
I am most anxious to set these clocks working.
