Trader Penny Keiner Ross
Shoes advert leaves Passage with left-out feeling

AT a time when Camden Passage needs all the publicity it can get, a trader has complained that a chance to promote the Islington antiques centre nationally has been lost.
Penny Keiner Ross’s shop, Pennies in Charlton Place, was featured in photographs used in a Clarks shoes advert. She says she was told Camden Passage would get a mention.
“I was delighted that they chose my shop and they paid me a fee,” she said. “They said they would give a little potted history of Camden Passage but there was not a mention. With losing the Mall we desperately need promoting.”
