Batteries bins on way
• A LETTER in the Tribune (Give us bins for batteries, October 10) rightly raised concerns about how residents should dispose of batteries. We will soon be offering battery recycling bins in all libraries. This is on top of existing facilities at our Household Reuse and Recycling Centre in Hornsey Street and at our Green Living Centre in Upper Street.
There is no legal requirement to collect batteries for recycling until 2012.
