Children and parents enjoying the ice-skating rink at Thornhill primary school
Love and skate! Festive rink at school
FORGET bouncy castles, these children from Thornhill primary school are having the time of their lives with some seasonal outdoor activity – ice-skating on a rink. Children as young as five who had never skated on ice before found themselves gliding gracefully as if they had been doing it for years at the Christmas fair last weekend.
Parent Andie Scott said the children had a marvellous time and quickly learned a new sporting skill at the same time. Later on in the evening it was the turn of the parents to have a go.
