Emily and that vote
• ANOTHER week, another spiteful letter from Lib Dem activist Bridget Fox (Fuel help frozen out, March 27).
Ms Fox said MP Emily Thornberry apparently “did not bother to vote” – deliberately implying Emily had not voted on the Fuel Poverty Bill. Emily was at the fuel poverty debate, and the only vote was on a Lib Dem motion to curtail the debate. Since Emily was waiting to raise the cases of her constituents in the chamber, no wonder she didn’t vote to stop the debate early.
