Animal farm: Hooking ducks, milking cows and pig racing transform Islington Green
MAYOR of Islington Anna Berent threw herself into the action at the Farmer’s Market’s 10th anniversary celebrations on Saturday.
Mayor Berent tried her hand at fluffy pig racing and milking a cartoon cow at the fete-style event on Islington Green.
Visitors filled their baskets with fresh food while the youngsters enjoyed the coconut shy and aimed for prizes in the inflatable hook-a-duck pond.
The farmer’s market is held each Sunday at William Tyndale School, behind Islington Town Hall on Upper Street. |
