Blanking out history

• “REDACTED” is the term the government used to blank out parts of already widely published MPs’ expenses. Talk about closing the stable door after the horse has bolted.
I thought “Red-Acted” was a Trotskyite sect from the 1980s that also blanked out certain parts of history?
