So proud of our youth
• THE Tribune has always given a lot of space to arts coverage, and I’d like to use your columns to express my genuine appreciation for Islington Youth Theatre and its performance at the Olivier (on the South Bank) on Monday night.
Success, by Nick Drake, is a vibrant and thought-provoking combination of music and dance, shattering the illusions of instant wealth and gratification. Young people from Islington secondary schools performed in a national setting and showed just how excellent our schools and young people are.
It was a pleasure to be there and I’m proud of the success achieved by our young people.
