YouTube politicians?
REBEL Lib Dem councillor Andrew Cornwell offered to film Town Hall meetings on a home video camera and post them on YouTube website when the future of webcasting was debated at the full council meeting last night (Thursday).
Public response to a pilot scheme has been poor, according to a Town Hall report. February’s budget meeting was the most popular webcast, with more than 500 downloads.
But the debate last night ended with approval for continued funding of £12,000 for the webcasts. |
