Spurs get
set to face Wigan
WITH the FA Cup no longer a concern, Martin Jol will
be plotting the downfall of Wigan Athletic when they visit White
Hart Lane for Sundays lunchtime kick-off.
The previous and only other league meeting between the two teams
in November ended 2-1 to Spurs with Robbie Keane and Edgar Davids
both on the score sheet.
Despite his goal in the draw with Sunderland, Keanes place
in the starting line up may be under threat now that Mido has
returned from Egypt and Jermain Defoe has returned to goal-scoring
form.
Arsenal have the weekend off as they prepare to travel to Spain
for the first leg of their Champions League tie with Real Madrid.
Injuries have disrupted the Gunners preparations for the game
on Tuesday.
Robin Van Persie and Antonio Reyes both missed the mid-week
game at Liverpool.
Ashley Cole and Sol Campbell will definitely miss out through
injury. |
