Crime to
let cops stand around
• In the last six months our household has had
a £5,000 and a £500 mountain bike stolen from outside
the house.
These were both chained to railings.
This morning when I arrived at work I had a call from my girlfriend
who had just got mugged at the bus stop on the way to her work.
What have the police done? Nothing. I work in Pond Street in
Hampstead, and often there are about three or four cops standing
around just chewing the fat.
Their time would surely be better spent patrolling areas of
high crime.
The only time I see a policeman in our area is when they are
going to a call and they drive by the house at 100mph.
