Cartoons
prove a big draw for Duke at new museum
PRINCE Philip joined cartoonists Steve Bell and Martin
Rowson at the opening of Londons first ever Cartoon Museum
yesterday (Wednesday).
The museum in Little Russell Street, Bloomsbury, features the
best in British cartoons, caricatures and comic art from the
last 300 years and opens to the public today (Thursday).
The museum was funded by £350,000 raised by trustees last
summer, with an appeal on-going in a bid to raise a further
£400,000.
