Hospital
tightens security
THE head of security at the Royal Free Hospital in
Hampstead is to compile dossiers for police and courts on people
who threaten staff.
Chris John will provide evidence to be used when an Anti-Social
Behaviour Order is sought. He said: We have 500,000 patients
each year and 350 crimes, so it is not a major problem, but
we do want to protect our staff.
From next week staff will carry mobile phone-style alarms to
alert security and digital devices to record threats. |
