Tamsin's four golds
MORE than 30 medals were won by Camden Swiss Cottage swimmers
in a weekend of victories at the Isle of Wight Masters.
Tamsin Jaggs (45-49 age group) led the way with four golds in
the 50m and 100m fly and freestyle.
Her husband Peter (45-49) took gold in the 800m free and silver
in the 400m free in his first races since recovering from injury.
Sachika Yamawaki (25-29) won gold in the 100 individual medley
and freestyle, adding silvers in the 50 and 400 freestyle.
Other gold medallists were Elizabeth Braimbridge (70-74) who
also added double silver and a bronze to her tally, and Susan
Green (50-54), who also won double silver.
Peter Kavanagh (35-39) won silver and bronze in the 400, 200,
100 and 50 metre freestyle events; Steven Lorimer and Adam Freer
(25-29) won silver and two bronze and Lucy Mullan (25-29) won
silver.
Alison Laird (30-34) won silver and bronze in her first ever
meet and Simon Wayne (45-49) took bronze.
The 120+ relay team of Mullan, Yamawaki, Lorimer and Wayne won
bronze. |
