Royal Free
is the best in London
• I would like to give a very big thank you to
all the doctors and nurses at the Royal Free Hospital for all
their help in getting me better and able to walk again with
out a stick.
Last year I was taken very ill and was taken to St Mary’s
Hospital in Paddington to see a doctor. She told me I would
need a brain scan and they would contact me. After about two
weeks waiting I got letter saying I would have to wait 60 weeks
to have a brain scan.
They also told me to go private as I am not working because
of my ill health I could not afford to go private I went back
to my GP as I was getting worse and he sent me to see a doctor
at the Royal Free.
Within a week I had a brain scan. They diagnosed I had a brain
tumour and it had to be removed.
I was taken to hospital and operated on to remove it. After
about two weeks I was back home with my family. I cannot thank
the Royal Free enough for what they did for me. The people of
Camden have one of the finest hospitals in London. The treatment
I got was first class.
