Murder trial date
A TEENAGE girl from Kentish Town who denies murdering a Golders
Green pensioner during a burglary has had her trial delayed
for a second time.
The 18-year-old, who cannot be identified at this stage, was
to have faced an Old Bailey jury in February but her case was
put back to last month.
The jobless defendant, who is in custody, will now be in court
on June 5 for a trial expected to take three weeks.
She has pleaded not guilty to murdering Anne Mendel, 85, at
her home in Elmcroft Crescent, Golders Green, on March 14 last
year. |
