Primary heroes battle it out in grand finals
THE best primary footballers in the borough battled it out
on Thursday in a bid to be named Camden Schools Sports Association
grand finals champions.
After hard fought group play and semi-finals at Talacre Sports
Centre, Rhyl School took the girls trophy when Zhane Petersons
goal saw them to a 1-0 win over Gospel Oak in the final.
While New End School lifted the boys trophy after a 2-1 win
over Gospel Oak with Jack Ainsworth and John Souster on target
for New End and Jacob Jervis-Bond scoring for Gospel.
Third places went to Richard Cobden (boys), St Pauls (girls)
and fourth places went to Edith Neville (boys) and Rosary (girls). |
