The Devil Wears Prada
This film did good business as a wry look at the world of fashion journalism and manages to work despite an all-too-obvious premise, that being fashion is essentially a silly and vacuous world and who in their right minds would want to work in such a sphere?
However, Meryl Streep is super as the Anna Wintour-esque editor, while Anne Hathaway (pictured) is the ambitious PA having to put up with rather a lot as she climbs the greasy fashion magazine pole.
