OK, 20 quid. What can you get for that? Some BOGOF electrical
bargains at the supermarket, a day out at Chessington, two rounds
at the pub?
Or, the most value-packed night that Camden has to offer?
Camden Crawl, taking place on April 20, is Londons Glastonbury.
An access all areas wristband will get you into 12 different
venues to see more than 50 of the best-established and up-and-coming
acts around.
As well as the confirmed line-up, there are some big guns booked
that will not be announced until just hours before kick off.
As I tap my finger to nose, I can safely say any of the big
boys in the locker are well worth 20 of your sterling.
Meanwhile, hottest band on the block, Dirty Pretty Things
ex-Libertine Carl Barats new show pony are playing
the Forum on May 24, and if you want to see what all the fuss
is about, get your ticket now!
PS: Ian Durys son Baxter plays Kilburns Luminaire
club on March 20.
Tickets can be bought at www.camdennewjournal.co.uk/camdencrawl.
