Superman Returns
THE remake of Superman flies into our living rooms this week.
It has stunning effects and a good lead by Brandon Routh as the man of steel. Although the story is as cock-eyed as they come – Lex Luthor wants to grow a crystal island in the middle of the sea and then submerge other continents, making him the ruler of all he can see – it’s good, solid comic book stuff.
He is ably supported by Kevin Spacey as the evil Lex and Kate Bosworth as Lois Lane.
